Dr. Marshall Bedder is a U.S. Navy combat veteran and seasoned physician triple boarded in Anesthesiology, Pain medicine and Addiction medicine. He currently serves as Chief of Pain Medicine at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center and Associate Professor and Director of the Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University.

His career includes leadership roles at prestigious institutions like Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland and Pacific Medical Centers in Seattle, where he developed pain medicine programs as well as training future healthcare professionals.

Originally from Canada, Dr. Bedder became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2000. At 50 years old, Dr. Bedder joined the U.S. Navy Reserve. In 2014, he was deployed to Afghanistan and spent nine months providing medical care at the NATO Role 3 Hospital at Kandahar Airfield.
